Day 4
Fes El Bali

Fes/Fez

Fes, the most ancient and completed of the medieval Imperial Cities in the whole Arab world is an adventure of itself. The medina in Fes will incite all your senses from smell to sounds. There is still a good quarter of inhabitants living in the old city – Fes el Bali that still looks very much as it did during the Middle ages. Perhaps the only sights that reminds us of today’s world is electricity, satellite dishes, and tourists. As it did in the past, this city still dominates in trade, culture, and religious life today. Explore the winding alleyways, old schools, and important trades on a guided walking tour of the city.
